Sports Relief 2018
The children spent the afternoon taking part in a series of activities. Class by class, they entered the hall and divided into three groups - group one had to clear an obstacle and throw balls into a net; group two used skipping ropes to skip up and down the hall and group three ran to a timer which increased in speed each time.
Year 6
The children had a fun filled morning at Gateshead Leisure Centre today. They took part in various sporting activities such as the long jump, javelin and relay races. All the children put their heart and sole into each activity. A special mention to Talia who managed to come second overall out of the all children that took part, and she received a well deserved silver medal.
