Reading Books
Children will bring their reading book and reading record home on a Friday. Reading is very important and even 1 or 2 pages each day can make a significant difference to a child's reading ability.
Children read every day in class. Reading books and reading records should be returned every Monday.
We have a wonderful reading incentive running in school.
The Larkspur Cafe

Each time the children read a book they get a stamp on their loyalty card. 
When they have 6 stamps they visit the Larkspur Cafe for a hot chocolate and a biscuit.
The more books your child reads the more often they will go to the cafe.
Larkspur Cafe runs every Friday afternoon.
