King Charles III Coronation
Here at Larkspur School we have been enjoying a day of celebration. We have been celebrating the Coronation of His Majesty The King, which will take place on Saturday 6th May, 2023.
We have been learning the importance of the coronation of the new king. This is a very special event for us all.
Take a look at some of our wonderful activities around school.
We all came to school wearing red, white and blue. This was exciting from the start.
We had a very special coronation lunch in the decorated hall.
In the afternoon we started our activities with a special assembly. We learned about the coronation and what will happen. We even sang some coronation songs.
Then we went off to do fun activities like biscuit decorating, games, sports, art and computer editing. This was amazing!!
We were also given royal names for the day.
Some of the staff were very happy with their new titles.
