Growing Towards Tomorrow

Early Years – Hazel

Hi Mrs Mills here...

I started my time at Larkspur as a student teacher. I started as the Year 4 teacher in January 2006.  I have taught Year 1 for many years and then did 2 years in year 4 again.  I am now having fun in Early Years!  Over the years I have taken children an many trips and adventures including the dance festival. I like getting to know the children and their parents. I believe this builds a good relationship and helps the children to progress in school.

I have 3 grown up children, 2 sons and a daughter. I also have 3 amazing grandsons and 2 beautiful grand daughters who I love to spend time with. During my spare time I like to knit and I also enjoy socialising with my family and friends.

Hi, I'm Mrs Cleverley, I am one of the Early Years teaching assistants.  I joined Larkspur School back in October 2016 after living in Germany for 10 years. I did a little time in other classes before settling into working full time supporting the children in the Early Years.  I love to see the children blossom.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family including my beautiful little grandson.

Hi, I'm Miss Jenkins, I am one of the Early Years teaching assistants.  I joined Larkspur school in March 2022.  I love working in Early years to see the children grow.  I have two children myself who keep me very busy with their competitive Gymnastics and Diving training schedules.

Hi, I'm Mrs Reed.  I started working at Larkspur in December2023. I am one of the Early years assistants and have worked 22 years in early years in nursery settings. I am really enjoying my new adventure at Larkspur, getting know know all the children and watching them develop every day. I have two children of my own and really enjoy planning family days out, going camping in our little camper van and going on nice beach walks with my dog.
