Mathematics 

This involves providing children with opportunities to develop and improve their skills in counting, understanding and using numbers, calculating simple addition and subtraction problems; and to describe shapes, spaces, and measures.

 

In our first few maths lessons we have been learning to sort and match pairs of items.  We are getting really good at using the maths vocabulary and identifying pairs.  We even noticed that all our shoes were in pairs when we were getting ready for PE!
