English

In English we will be looking at:

• Spelling, grammar and punctuation work
• Suspense writing
• Discussions

Maths

In maths we will be learning about:

• perimeter and area
• multiplication and division
• fractions
• decimals and percentages
• times table revision
• mathematical problem solving and reasoning

Science

In science we will be learning about:

• Earth and space
• Properties and changes of materials

Physical Education

In PE we will be developing our skills in:

• gymnastics
• striking and fielding

Computing

In computing we will be:

• Creating a physical simulation through Scratch. We will use selection, repetition and variables. 

History

In history we will be learning about the Shang Dynasty.

Geography

In geography we will be learning about South America. 

Art

In art we will be creating art based on the theme people in action. 

D+T

In design and technology we will be learning fashion and textiles.

Music

In our music lessons we will be learning to play the guitar. We will also be composing our own music. 

RE

In RE we will be learning about the following themes:

• Beliefs and moral values
• Hindu beliefs
• Easter

MFL

In modern foreign languages we will be learning Italian.
