A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and inspirational teacher, ready to take the next steps in their leadership journey to join our team at Larkspur Community Primary School.  Larkspur community primary school is on a journey of improvement, and we are looking for someone dynamic, passionate and committed to work closely in partnership alongside the Head Teacher to raise standards in teaching and learning and to also develop the provision for our pupils with SEND.


We are looking for someone who will promote high standards of teaching and learning, inspire, motivate, develop staff and drive change to ensure the very best educational and pastoral provision for our children. 


The successful candidate will have whole school responsibility for leading SEN and EAL provision across school alongside a teaching responsibility. The ability to work flexibly as part of a team and managing the day-to-day management of the school whilst demonstrating a positive outlook and attitude is key to the success of this role.

•    Aspires to be a leader who has the imagination and skills to translate an inspiring and ambitious vision into practice, demonstrated by their proven track record of improving outcomes for children and developing staff
•    Has a solution-focused approach to the challenges of leadership in a growing school, and be adaptable and flexible to change
•    Is committed to working in partnership with our parents and the local community including a variety of stakeholders.
•    Understands the need to be a team-player, is calm under pressure and has a good sense of humour.
