When they are ready to start reading, children will be issued with a new reading book every Friday.  They will also get to choose a book from the school library to share with an adult. Please read the books with your child and comment in their reading diary.  Book bags should be brought into school every day.

 

As they progress through the phonics scheme, children will take home copies of the sounds and tricky words we have been learning in class.  Please practise these sounds and words at home with your child for a short 5 minutes a day.
