Road to Riat STEM Challenge 

The year 5 class took part in an online STEM day challenge, run buy the Royal Air Force. The children were exploring, designing and testing different glider shapes. They then used this knowledge to design a sustainable aircraft of the future. These will be entered into a competition with other schools to visit the Royal International Air Tattoo. We are keeping our fingers crossed! All the children had a wonderful day and learned a lot about aerodynamics and sustainability.
