Special Assemblies and Visitors

RNLI Visit

Two staff from the RNLI visited our school today to talk about the different roles within the RNLI and to teach the children about water safety. They made the session fun, interactive and also let some of the children dress up as lifeguards. We all know how to stay safe at the beach,

Year 5 Class Assembly

The pupils in Year 5 worked extremely hard to prepare their assembly for the whole school and parents based on World War 1. They all performed very well and provided lots of facts about the war. It was lovely to hear their poems they had written independently. Well done Year 5!

Year 5 Class Assembly

Royal Wedding Celebration

To celebrate the marriage of Prince Harry and Megan Markle, the children came to school dressed in their finery.  After a morning of activities the children were royally welcomed into the school hall for lunch.  The afternoon commenced with games and croquet on the lawn.

Easter Bonnet and Egg Competition.

The children have been very busy creating bonnets and eggs for the annual Easter competition. After much deliberation the winners and runners up were finally announced.  Take a look at our superstars below.

WE Schools Visit

We recently had a visit from Frankie from WE Schools. They delivered an assembly to the whole school as well as some workshops with Year 4.

Their assembly focused on how children can make a difference in the world around them.

The workshops built upon this theme and discussed issues that children face each day, and how they can combat them at school, at home, and in their community.
