The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Reception class are going to be reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.  With the predictable language of the text, it encourages children to chime in and read along. It also teaches readers about the days of the week, counting, nutrition, and the life cycle of a butterfly.

Why not watch this great video with your child. What can they remember from the story? Can you do any fun activities together. If you do anything fun, send some photos into school. We would love to see them.
