Science Learning Bus 2020
The Learning Bus attended Larkspur as part of events for British Science Week this year and it children greatly enjoyed their sessions upon the bus.
British Science Weeks theme this year 'Our Diverse Planet' therefore Success4All created activities for us reflecting this theme.
Year 1/2 and Year 3/4 – Birds and their beaks
The children explored how animals have adapted to suit their environment. In particular, the children focused on how different bird beaks shapes and sizes can help us predict what kinds of foods birds eat.
During this activity the children explored UV light that is produced by the sun. The children investigated a range of materials and suncream formulas to discover how to protect our skin against UV exposure.
