The Gateshead Family Learning Team offer regular courses and workshops at Larkspur where parents and carers can enjoy a range of learning opportunities, meet new people, spend quality time with their child and have some fun along the way.

Autumn 1 – Maths Through Stories – Family Learning course for Early Years children and parents or carers

Every Tuesday afternoon 1:45pm – 3:15pm from 15th September till 13th October in our family learning room.

Sarah form Gateshead Family Learning is running a free 5 week course here at Larkspur for Early Years parents and their children. You will build confidence in supporting early maths through storytelling, crafts and games. You’ll discover simple, creative ways to make maths part of daily life at home — no experience needed!

You will receive books to take home to support storytelling and maths learning. Children will join later in each session to get crafty, enjoy stories and learn through play and creativity.
