Every Friday afternoon we have enrichment sessions.
Enrichment time in school offers students opportunities to go beyond the standard curriculum, fostering cognitive, social, and emotional development through activities like arts, sports, and cooking. These experiences support learning for life, helping students develop essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership. They also encourage students to believe they can by building confidence, creativity, and resilience, which can lead to improved academic performance and personal growth. Furthermore, enrichment activities ensure that everyone belongs, creating an inclusive environment where all students can explore new interests, discover potential career paths, and improve mental well-being by providing a break from academic pressure. This approach can even boost school attendance.
