We have had great fun over the past few weeks learning about magnets. We have investigated magnetic objects and metals. We've made our own compass and we've talked about the uses of magnets in everyday items around us.
Today, we created our own magnetic games. We made our own race tracks then attached paper clips to a paper race car. Using a magnet, we could drive our cars around the track.
Some of us made a fishing game. We drew ponds on card then added paperclips to paper fish. We attached a magnet to some wool and tied it to a pencil. This made a great fishing rod.
We've really enjoyed experimenting with magnets!
