History
We aim to inspire children to want to know more about the past. We will help pupils gain a knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world.Teaching history to our children has many important benefits. History provides identity. Studying history improves our decision making and judgment. History shows us models of good and responsible citizenship. History also teaches us how to learn from the mistakes of others. History helps us understand change and societal development. History provides us a context from which to understand ourselves and others.

Geography help students to understand the uniqueness of their own place, the world they live in and their involvement within it. It supports them to explore not just the physical aspects, but also the impacts of human values and culture on society, the environment and places.
