Reading Den Day - Wednesday 7th February

Dear Parents, Grandparents and Carers,

On Wednesday, 7th February we are holding another ‘Reading Den Day’.  We are welcoming every parent, grandparent and carer into Larkspur to have the opportunity to share a story with their child.
Each class will be allocated a time slot in the transformed school hall where they can meet with their family and enjoy a story together in a cosy den, on a picnic rug or with a drink and snack.  Your child will also share their creative reading and writing skills in a short performance with their class – a poetry recital or storytelling session.

We are really looking forward to welcoming as many families as possible in to ‘share a story’.  The children will perform and share a story at:

Nursery & Reception - 9.30 - 10.30am
Years 3 & 4 - 10.45 - 11.15am
Years 1 & 5 - 1.15 - 2.00pm
Year 2 - 2.00 - 2.45pm

HELP!  We urgently need a loan of any ‘pop up tents’ (beach tents), picnic blankets, sheets, tunnels, bean bags etc to use in our den for the day.  All items loaned will be taken care of and returned on to your child at the end of our den day.  Thank you!
